Day 18 - January 18, 2011

I love Tuesdays! We had another great Bible class. We are still in the "Break the Worry Habit" book. The new chapter is discussing how we worry about our kids, very appropriate for me right now!

Renee brought muffins!

Scripture passage of the day (came from Bible class
and is my prayer for my children):

Colossians 1:9 …[May  God] fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding…in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in very good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience,
and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.

After school I visited Olaf and Lena who had been incarcerated. Apparently they had decided to amuse themselves today by redecorating the kitchen floor with the contents of the garbage can. Tiffany, who discovered and was NOT impressed with their efforts, is quoted as saying, "They are dead to me, DEAD."

The impromptu activity of the evening was a "Taste Off". Jim ran and errand and brought home Ben and Jerry's. Tonight's contenders were Brownie Batter vs. Chocolate Fudge Brownie. The winner: Chocolate Fudge Brownie!

  1. Can a mother really "not worry"... maybe we just call it "concern"... And what were the criteria in the ice cream judging??! :)
